I have a special treat for you today.

Over the past year, I’ve been working hard to grow my community over on Instagram.

This photo-driven social media platform is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to hang out.

Although I love to share lots of real-life photos on Instagram, my primary goal is to be a source of encouragement for my followers.

I view each Instagram post as a mini-blog and have enjoyed creating quote graphics specifically for the platform.

I welcome you to download your favorite quote graphics from the collection below to enjoy and share however you’d like.

So long as you promise not to alter the images in any way, consider them my free gift to you.

If you decide to share any of these quote graphics on your social media accounts, please tag me as I’d love to join in the fun.

Also, if you are on Instagram and haven’t taken the time to follow my account,  join me @sarahekoontz.

My Instagram Growth Strategy

Instagram is a social-media platform focused on art and creativity.

It inspires users to share the beauty of the world that surrounds them.

I love that my Instagram feed is relatively free of the politics and negativity flooding other social media platforms.

I find myself drawn to Instagram when I need a pick-me-up after a difficult day.

As a writer who is looking to build a solid platform in order to someday land a publishing deal, I dedicate a great deal of time to increasing my social media presence.

I have experienced extraordinary growth on Instagram in the past few months and I spilled all my secrets in an exclusive interview with Alison Tiemeyer.

You must be proactive if you want to grow a platform and Instagram is no exception.

It is important to build an Instagram account that you are proud of; one that you enjoy posting to regularly and fits the message of your blog.

I view every Instagram post as an opportunity to encourage others and I do my best to respond to every comment with care and consistency.

  2. Sarah,
I love your graphics….so creative!! I must admit I feel like such a dinosaur because I’m not even on instagram, but I think I’d love it because I so enjoy being creative!! Maybe you could teach this dinosaur a few new tricks??
    You go girl,

    1. Instagram was my last platform to join, and I’ve been focused on it since the beginning of the year. The more time I spend there, the more I want to. No harm in giving it a try, right? 🙂

    1. I’m struggling with Pinterest myself. I haven’t quite figured out how to optimize my account, but am forcing myself to be consistent because it drives so much traffic! Instagram doesn’t really grow my blog but I’ve made so many valuable connections and friends there. Well worth the effort!
